The Beauty of Stone Landscaping | Bethesda, MD

Jun 19, 2014 | Pavement

Do you have a sad listless yard in need of a cosmetic face lift?

One of the most reinvigorating elements one can install to remedy any yard, is beautiful stonework. Stone landscaping done right can transform the most hopeless yard into a stunning aesthetic showcase.

And this can be done utilizing the existing trees and shrubs you love simply by designing around them. Pathways and walkways meandering through your yard, can be designed to wend themselves around your garden beds and shrubs and end up at a ‘destination’ of your choice, such as a fountain or sculpture, or an arbor covered bench.

Fine detailed stonework is some of the most beautiful and underrated art there is, and no where is it more practical and functional than in beautifying our own backyards. Stonework can also be used to act as a garden focal point; such as creating a water feature or installing a stone archway. Plant roses nearby, have them vine up this arch and you have a piece of old European heaven right outside you own back door.

A high stone wall around your pool or your patio is also a natural visual feast at eye level. Here at Johnson’s Landscaping our professional skilled and experienced masons take pride on implementing your design to perfection, from elegant patios and stone walls to traditional steps and walkways.

From stone work, water features, walls, patios, plantings, ponds, walkways, arbors, trellises, and exterior lighting, Johnson’s Landscaping covers it all. If you are ready to take that step and to relish a brand new aesthetic outdoor living experience, contact us today.
